Module 1 — வாகனம் மற்றும் EV என்றால் என்ன? | What is a Vehicle & EV
மின்சார வாகன உலகை அடிப்படையிலிருந்து புரிந்துகொள்ளுங்கள். வாகனம் என்றால் என்ன, EV என்றால் என்ன, மனித மற்றும் விலங்கு சக்தியால் இயங்கிய போக்குவரத்திலிருந்து அவை எப்படி வளர்ந்தன, IC engine மற்றும் மின்சார வாகனங்களுக்கு இடையிலான வேறுபாடு, மற்றும் போக்குவரத்தின் Golden Line ஆகியவற்றைக் கற்றுக்கொள்ளுங்கள். ஒவ்வொரு EV ஆர்வலருக்கும் சிறந்த தொடக்கப் புள்ளி.

Module 2 — MMI-அறிமுகம் | Introduction

Module 3 — EV அடிப்படைகள் | EV Fundamentals

Module 5 — மின்சார அடிப்படைகள் | Electrical Fundamentals
ஒவ்வொரு EV technician-க்கும் தேவையான மின்சார அடித்தளத்தைக் கற்றுக்கொள்ளுங்கள். இந்த module-இல் Voltage, Current & Resistance (VIR), Ohm's Law, power formulas மற்றும் மின்சார வாகனங்களில் பயன்படும் நிஜ கணக்கீடுகள் உள்ளன. Wiring circuits, motor winding resistance, open vs closed circuits, series & parallel இணைப்புகள், lithium cell கணக்கீடுகள், EV wiring harness மற்றும் Hall sensor circuits ஆகியவற்றைக் கற்று, நடைமுறைக் கணக்குகள் மூலம் உண்மையான diagnostic நம்பிக்கையைப் பெறுங்கள்.

Module 6 — மின்சார Scooter அமைப்பு | Electric Scooter System
மின்சார scooter-இன் முழு அமைப்பையும் ஆராயுங்கள் — throttle மற்றும் controller முதல் buck converter மற்றும் wiring layout வரை. 6 முக்கிய EV பாகங்கள் எப்படி ஒன்றாக இயங்குகின்றன என்பதைக் கற்றுக்கொள்ளுங்கள், E-Rickshaw power systems-ஐப் புரிந்துகொள்ளுங்கள், மற்றும் Hub vs Mid-Drive அமைப்புகளை ஒப்பிடுங்கள். நிஜ மின்சார scooters-ஐ diagnose செய்யவும் service செய்யவும் தேவையான நடைமுறை அடித்தளத்தை இந்த module உருவாக்குகிறது.

Module 8 — Controller அமைப்பு | Controller System
ஒவ்வொரு EV-இன் மூளையான controller-ஐப் புரிந்துகொள்ளுங்கள். Motor controllers எப்படி இயங்குகின்றன, PWM signals, throttle response, regenerative braking கட்டுப்பாடு, மற்றும் controller பழுதுகளை எப்படிக் கண்டறிந்து சரிசெய்வது என்பதைக் கற்றுக்கொள்ளுங்கள்.

Module 9 — வாகனக் கட்டுப்பாட்டு அலகு & தொடர்பு (VCU/VCC) | Vehicle Control Unit & Communication (VCU/VCC)

Module 10 — மின்சார Scooter & Light EV கட்டமைப்பு | Electric Scooter & Light EV Architecture
மின்சார scooters மற்றும் light EV-களின் முழுமையான கட்டமைப்பு. Chassis வடிவமைப்பு, பாகங்களின் அமைவிடம், wiring harness, மின் விநியோகம், வெப்ப மேலாண்மை மற்றும் ஒரு நிஜ மின்சார scooter-இன் முழு system ஒருங்கிணைப்பைக் கற்றுக்கொள்ளுங்கள்.

Module 11 — Lithium Battery அமைப்பு | Li-Battery System

Module 12 — Battery மேலாண்மை அமைப்பு (BMS) | Battery Management System (BMS)

Module 13 — EV சார்ஜிங் சிஸ்டம் | EV Charging System
AC மற்றும் DC சார்ஜிங் சிஸ்டம்கள், சார்ஜிங் தரநிலைகள் (Type 1, Type 2, CCS, CHAdeMO), ஆன்-போர்டு சார்ஜர் (OBC) செயல்பாடு, சார்ஜிங் புரோட்டோகால்கள், வீட்டு சார்ஜிங் அமைப்பு மற்றும் பொது சார்ஜிங் கட்டமைப்பு நிறுவுதல் ஆகியவற்றைப் புரிந்துகொள்ளுங்கள். I am already working as a Two-Wheeler Technician, and I joined Madras Mechanical Institute (MMI), Egmore, to learn Electric Vehicle Technology. I attended the online classes along with the 5-day practical training.
The training was very useful for my career. Since I already have experience as a Two-Wheeler Technician, understanding EV technology and applying the concepts practically was easier for me. I joined The Madras Mechanical Institute, Chintadripet / Egmore branch for Petrol + EV Bike Service course. The institute has a 4.8 rating and I can see why. Trainers explain clearly, lot of hands-on work on real bikes, not just theory. They also guided me on workshop setup and spare parts. Fees is reasonable at around Rs.22k + tax for EV course. If you want to become a mechanic or start your own garage, MMI is the right place.
